How We Work
We believe below are 4 most important aspects for quality delivery to clients so therefore, we emphasizes on the FOUR CORE VALUES of the AGILE Software development process:
- Individual and team interactions over processes and tools
- Working software over comprehensive documentation
- Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
- Responding to change over following a plan
Our Work Approach
We at Smartwiz Technologies use Scrum, the most popular Agile Framework in our software development process. This is an iterative approach that has at its core the sprint — the scrum term for iteration. Agile is an iterative process that allows us to deliver working features through a basic solution and then we enhance it further over time. This makes the project delivery a quick process. And throughout the whole process we do have a constant communication and interaction with our clients to ensure that they are happy with every sprint release.
The scrum approach includes assembling the project’s requirements in a Product Backlog ( prepared by the product owner ) and using them to define the project. We then plan the necessary sprints known as Sprint Backlog that lasts from 2-3 weeks, and divide each sprint into its own list of requirements or features. Daily scrum meetings help keep the project on target as do regular inspections and Sprint Reviews. At the end of every sprint, we hold a sprint retrospective to look for ways to improve the next sprint. The process looks something like this:
Agile Rituals also known as Scrum ceremonies are different practices carried out by teams that are implementing Agile. The essential scrum meetings are Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up (daily scrum), Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective. These ceremonies helps the teams to get work done in a structured manner, help to set expectations, empower the team to collaborate effectively, and ultimately drive results.
Any work that is to be performed in the Sprint is planned at the Sprint Planning. It is time-boxed to a maximum of eight hours for a month long Sprint..
The sprint review is focused on the product increment created during the sprint. It starts with a customer review and demonstration and ends with discussion and updates to the product backlog and release plan.
Daily Stand Up Meeting
It provides a simple means for team members to keep each other up to date without spending a lot of time in meetings or having to write and read of status reports.
Meaningful retrospectives resolve project impediments, identify key issues, and create an environment of continuous improvement.
